A less energy consuming cloud
Every person, organization, company, administration, handles thousands of web pages especially when working from home, which is very energy consuming.
The average weight of web pages has been multiplied by 100 in 20 years. This phenomenon, called « obesity » does not cease to weigh down the consumption of the Web.
The web will soon be the first energy consumer in the world.
Some actors announce to be ecological because they would use renewable energies. This is neither verifiable nor realistic because renewable energy can only power a tiny part of the web.
The only objective way would be to work on reducing the consumption of the web and in particular those related to data centers.
The new technology of Drumee allows to strongly reduce the amount of work of the servers for each generated web page. In the end, we observe a reduction of energy consumed for each page of about 50%.
